In addition to the other equipment that makes up an ISDN network, the network terminator unit Plays an increasingly important role in the reliable transmission of voice, data and video. The network terminator unit forms the interface between the network operator and his customers.
Application
The residential use of ISDN is largely driven by price and ease of operation. The heavy infrastructure costs an operator is confronted with, are nowadays viewed over its entire life span. Besides the initial purchasing value, these costs also contain the more and more crucial installation and permanently growing maintenance costs. These factors played a key role in the development of the Easy Access NT-1. The device and the terminals are remotely powered from the exchange. Where necessary, the desktop version has built -in mains adapter,whereas the rack version has a connector for powering the unit with a central rack power supply. Reliability,and versatile testloops and remote control functions ensure a high level of availability.
